About The Position

The Workforce Development Specialist at Everblue is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the North Carolina Weatherization Assistance Program's (NC WAP) pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs. This role focuses on ensuring these programs meet workforce needs and drive long-term success through effective collaboration with stakeholders and industry partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in workforce development program management, including apprenticeship program creation or administration.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency or weatherization programs is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage NC WAP's pre-apprenticeship/apprenticeship programs, ensuring alignment with state and federal standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish program goals, recruitment strategies, and participant success metrics.
• Oversee program operations, including participant onboarding, curriculum alignment, and certification tracking.
• Act as a liaison with industry partners to identify workforce demands and enhance opportunities for graduates.
• Monitor program success through regular reporting and adapt strategies to improve outcomes.
