The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Strategic Workforce Development Team uses data, research and internal and external partnerships to craft workforce development solutions focused on building robust talent pipelines to meet RME’s current, emerging, and future needs. As a Strategic Workforce Development (SWD) Program Manager you will proactively identify mechanisms, process improvements, programs and partnerships which will improve Amazon RME operations and the employment outcomes for current and future Amazonians. The SWD Program Manager will lead programs supporting Amazonians globally. This includes identifying key initiatives, developing project roadmaps, engaging vendors, internal and external partners, developing proposals, identifying and scoping data and metric requirements, and managing key stakeholder communications. This role will work directly with multiple internal businesses, technology, finance, operations, vendors, and partner teams. Due to the scope and impact of this role, you will continuously find new problems to solve and be required to partner with teams across the globe to deliver innovative workforce development programs within the project timeline and budget.   • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Documenting and communicating results to senior leaders
  • Interpreting data for a non-technical audience
  • Develop strong relationships and have the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders/partners across diverse roles and levels.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements for execution
  • 6+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
