The Workforce Development Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and management of training and development programs to ensure aircraft maintenance and logistics personnel are fully qualified and certified to perform assigned tasks. This role will provide guidance and establish procedures for workforce and training initiatives across multiple programs, including Civilian Training Plans (CTPs), the Training Scheduling System (TSS), the Multi-Trades Demonstration Project, and the Maintenance Workforce Development Program (MWDP). Responsibilities also include managing systems training, courseware, and implementation assessments; supporting the Air Force Logistics Professional Development Program (AF LPDP); and contributing to training planning and preparation for other logistics initiatives. The Specialist will develop and propose innovative training techniques, teaching methods, and procedures, subject to approval by Government program leads.
