About The Position

The Workforce Development & Continuing Education (WD&CE) Specialist is responsible for providing high-level clerical and administrative support to the Division of WD&CE. Key responsibilities include managing student registration processes, preparing and maintaining scholarship and financial aid reports and ledgers, and providing direct support to program directors. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency of daily operations and in advancing the division's mission to meet the workforce and community training needs of the College.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, education, or related field
  • Two or more years of administrative experience

  • Knowledge of Colleague in relation to entering new students, updating existing students, registration, and grading
  • Ability to advise students regarding education, career training, and workforce opportunities
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in computer technology, telephone, miscellaneous office equipment and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
