The Workforce Access Management Data Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our identity and access management (IAM) systems. This individual will be responsible for handling a variety of data-related tasks, from loading and modifying metadata to analyzing trends and generating reports. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining data integrity and security.

  • Execute operational tasks using SQL, MS Excel and system administration to load or modify Entitlement/Role metadata, Application Onboarding data loads, and data cleanup/updates in IAM systems by following process SOPs and SLAs.
  • Document processes and data changes thoroughly, maintaining up-to-date workflow guides, runbooks etc.
  • Analyze data using advanced Excel functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualization tools to identify trends and drive decision-making.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for extracting, updating, or reconciling large datasets, and collaborate with database administrators to improve query performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues, participating in meetings to clarify requirements and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Create reports and dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau preferred) that clearly present metrics, KPIs, and project progress for stakeholders.
  • Suggest automation/process improvements, such as developing scripts or recommending new tools to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance data quality.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and access management, participating in professional development opportunities and industry conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to develop and implement access controls, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data and systems.
  • 2+ years in data analysis or access management within a corporate environment, preferably involving sensitive or regulated data.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel formulas, charts, and data manipulation.
  • Moderate SQL/database skills: proficient in joins, aggregations, and fundamental maintenance tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, demonstrated through meticulous documentation and error-free deliverables.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, implement changes in existing processes, and support improvements for executional efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, IAM systems such as Okta, SailPoint, or AD.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell, VBA) for process automation and batch data processing.
  • Familiarity with information security principles, audit protocols, or compliance standards (such as SOX or PCI).
