About The Position

The Workflow Processor at Lucro Commercial Solutions is responsible for managing, reviewing, and advancing commercial loan files through defined underwriting and operational workflows. This role ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards while supporting efficient loan processing from intake through approval and closing. The position contributes primarily through the application of professional knowledge, independent judgement, and strong organizational skills rather than through people management. The Workflow Processor plays a critical role in maintaining workflow integrity, identifying issues, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial loan processing, underwriting support, financial services operations or a related role.
  • Experience working within structured workflows and regulated environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending processes, underwriting support, or loan operations workflows.
  • Ability to interpret loan documentation, guidelines, and procedural requirements.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and impacts within workflows.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within defined authority levels.
  • Proficiency with loan system, document management platforms, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned loan files through designated workflow stages, ensuring all required documentation is received, reviewed and accurately recorded.
  • Review loan documentation for completeness, consistency, and adhere to underwriting guidelines, client requirements, and internal policies.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential risks and proactively communicate findings to appropriate team members.
  • Apply professional judgement to resolve routine to moderately complex processing issues within established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate workflow status updates and ensure timely movement of files within systems and tracking tools.
  • Support quality control efforts by adhering to documented processes and contributing to continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, investor and client requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and, when applicable, external stakeholders.
  • Assist with training, knowledge sharing, or process documentation as requested.
