About The Position

as a Workflow Developer you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Basic level of programming/scripting experience and education is required. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience with database and workflow programming and/or mail merge.
  • Automated Data Processing.
  • SQL.
  • SDLC.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to create professional-looking documents.
  • Time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of the legal process and legal documents.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Vertican – Collection Master (CLS) experience is an added value.
  • Experience with WordPerfect merge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create legal documents templates based on examples provided by process owners.
  • Modify existing templates according to instructions from process owners.
  • Plan and draft scripting code that will create required variations in the generated documents.
  • Plan and draft scripting code for database modification commands.
  • Test documents to insure they are generated in compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Troubleshoot and correct script problems.
  • Review scripting code to answer questions regarding the functionality of documents or database commands.
  • Track multiple ongoing projects, communicate expectations related to timeline of deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation regarding the project, related processes/subprocesses and process owner provided instructions.
  • Utilize Jira to track and document projects/development requests.
  • Actively listen and effectively communicate with all levels of management and attorneys.
  • Consult and/or complete requests related to front-end programming of Firm websites.
