About The Position

At NCCI, we're looking for a WC Infrastructure Analyst to join our team in helping maintain the integrity and accuracy of filed and non-filed content related to NCCI manuals, rules, forms and classification through research. WORK LOCATION: This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must live locally within a commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters. NOTE: NCCI will not sponsor applicants for work visas. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Review and analyze manual rules, classifications, and form-related underwriting inquiries for voluntary and residual markets. Research background material to ensure a complete understanding of the reasons for recommending a change to the workers compensation infrastructure. Present research to Underwriting Committee and provides technical support to stakeholders. Participate in special projects as assigned, including item filing and publication process, system infrastructure testing and updating of procedures, as needed. Assist in preparation of materials for the Underwriting Committee and committee meeting logistics.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of workers compensation insurance experience as an underwriter, inspector, premium auditor, regulatory compliance analyst, or producer
  • Bachelor's degree, or additional related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all audiences at all levels
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation insurance, including NCCI’s Basic Manual, Scopes Manual as well as other NCCI underwriting manuals, and the Class Look-Up tool
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good project management skills
