About The Position
As a Workers Compensation Examiner at Aston Carter, you will play a crucial role in overseeing Workers' Compensation claims by collaborating with a dedicated team that includes an Adjuster, Corporate Nurse Consultant, and field management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the adjusters' work is progressing as planned and that all claims are reviewed in accordance with the Quality Service Plan. You will strategize with your team to achieve timely and cost-effective resolutions for claims, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the claims process. In this position, you will lead weekly triage calls to discuss ongoing claims and set reserves in collaboration with adjusters. Your participation in claim reviews will be vital, as you will be expected to identify trends and report on them to enhance the overall claims management process. This role requires a blend of hard skills, such as oversight of Workers' Compensation claims, claims review, strategic planning for claims resolution, and trend observation, along with soft skills like collaboration, leadership, strategic thinking, and effective communication. This is a fully on-site position located in Chesterfield, Missouri, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
