About The Position

Workers’ Compensation Claims - Support Coordinate and facilitate claim process by acting as a liaison between and among the company, insurance carrier/third party administrator (TPA), medical provider, broker, production and the injured employee. Provide administrative support by setting up new claim records and reporting claims to carrier/TPA in a timely manner. Assist manager and administrator in reviewing claims for proper handling and timely closing. Support injured employees in obtaining medical treatment and other related needs. Assist in physician releases and returning employees back to work, with approved accommodations. Coordinate the communication of notifying designated district personnel of injuries. Enter injury and illness information in logs and designated databases, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality for each case. Conduct interactive meetings with the injured employees. Assist in scheduling investigations and gathering information for injury related matters. Maintain OSHA Logs with accurate data. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of worker safety. Support in Risk Department strategic objectives and goals. Help manage subpoenas requests and assist with collecting all supporting documentation from the different departments. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Standards and requirements (i.e., Cal/OSHA)
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Demonstrate attention to details
  • Interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite
  • Promote a culture of worker safety
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years related work experience
  • English and Spanish: >85% - 95%
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Proficient
  • Ability to travel 25 percent of the time – domestic and regularly driving from ranch to ranch
  • If driving is a necessary part of a job employees are required to possess a valid driver’s license.
