About The Position

You'll be the first and most consistent point of contact in the claims experience-supporting injured employees and their employers with compassion, precision, and urgency. You'll handle incident intake, manage early-stage claim setup, and drive communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This is a detail-heavy, service-focused role where you'll ensure every claim starts strong and progresses smoothly.

Requirements

  • Experience handling high-volume client communication in claims, insurance, or legal environments
  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy workflows (e.g., medical records, subpoenas, incident forms, vendor invoices)
  • Skilled in navigating claims systems, intake tools, and internal case queues to manage and track tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially under pressure
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet service-level expectations
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with external parties (e.g., clients, doctors, attorneys, vendors) and internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Intake and process all workplace incidents and WC claims accurately and quickly in the claims system
  • Initiate and distribute all necessary forms, documents, and communications (e.g., WC-14, AFU, subpoenas, IME scheduling)
  • Manage the ServiceFirst queue daily-responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating as appropriate
  • Support vendors and attorneys with timely payment entries and document follow-up; ensure zero missed disbursements
  • Provide regular, proactive updates to clients and claimants to build trust and keep momentum throughout the claim lifecycle
  • Maintain full documentation integrity in the claims system to support compliance and reporting standards

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: We value your contributions and back that up with strong pay at $51,508.00 TO $70,686.00 per year, full benefits, and resources to support your well-being.
  • Flexibility with Accountability: For Hawaii-based employees, we offer hybrid work options. For those on the mainland, we offer fully remote roles, so long as you are ready to work on Hawaii Standard Time.
  • Real Opportunities to Grow: Whether you're looking to deepen your expertise or step into leadership, you'll have access to feedback and coaching, development programs, mentorship, and clear paths forward.
  • Trust and Autonomy: You'll be empowered to manage your responsibilities with clarity and independence, backed by a team that shares your commitment to doing things right.
  • A Culture That Means Something: Our Core Values aren't just words on a wall. They guide how we work, make decisions, and support one another.
