Requirements

  • 8 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required to include 1 year supervisory experience.
  • California workers' compensation claims experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
  • SIP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversees internal quality review processes, supports organizational quality programs, and reports results monthly.
  • Ensures compliance with client internal controls, audit requirements, service agreements, company policies, state regulations, plan documents, and industry best practices.
  • Develops and executes business plans with goals and objectives for assigned clients; establishes and maintains client relationships.
  • Administers personnel policies, staffing standards, and training recommendations; assists with interviewing, hiring, performance development plans, and conducts performance discussions.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and motivation to promote high performance.
  • Travels as required and performs other duties as assigned.
