About The Position

The Workers Compensation Analyst position at Endeavor Health is a full-time role located in Evanston, IL. The position requires working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential travel to other Endeavor Health locations. The role involves coordinating the Workers Compensation Program, monitoring employee incident reports, reviewing claims, and coding timecards for team members on workers’ compensation. The analyst will also participate in investigations, coordinate transitional duty programs, and engage in claim meetings with Third Party Administrators. Additionally, the position requires reviewing and auditing internal medical charges, completing OSHA reporting requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience.
  • 3 years of experience with workers’ compensation, claims management, or safety management.
  • Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills.
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and relevant regulatory codes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience in healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with Team Member Health System or similar case management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and tracks employee incident reports and reviews workers’ compensation claims.
  • Codes timecards for team members on workers’ compensation.
  • Aids in investigations to determine the accuracy of claims.
  • Coordinates the transitional duty program with department managers.
  • Monitors lost time claims and updates leave information.
  • Participates in claim meetings and periodic claim review sessions.
  • Reviews Employee Incident Reports for completeness and anomalies.
  • Audits internal medical charges for appropriate billing.
  • Completes OSHA reporting requirements within specified timeframes.
  • Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Develops and maintains a tracking system for OSHA compliance.
  • Builds relationships with team members and leaders across the organization.
  • Participates in quality improvement projects as requested.
