Requirements
- High School / GED required.
- Two (2) years of recent experience in Worker's Compensation in Health Care required.
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days of hire date required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with HR to coordinate pre-hire screenings for all employees, contracted personnel, volunteers, and students.
- Prepare comprehensive new hire files, ensuring all required tests and documents are accurately collected and recorded.
- Conduct drug screenings efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain all EHS and Workers' Compensation records with meticulous accuracy and promptly, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Proactively contact employees on Workers' Compensation Leave of Absence (LOA) as a key part of our Transitional Work Program.
- Monitor and track their progress with bi-weekly follow-ups.
- Serve as a central point of contact to coordinate Transitional Work Assignments. This involves effective communication and collaboration with physicians, managers/supervisors, the employee, and the accepting Transitional Work Program department manager.
