As a Workday Junior Associate, you are an entry-level professional responsible for performing routine assignments using existing procedures. This role is designed for an individual eager to develop a career in HR technology and requires conceptual knowledge of HR practices and digital dexterity to adapt to rapidly evolving technology. You will work on foundational business problems, following standard practices while receiving instruction and guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

  • No previous professional experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Self-Directed Learning & Curiosity: Demonstrate a high level of self-initiative and "digital dexterity," with the ability to proactively seek out information, learn new systems quickly, and stay ahead of rapidly evolving HR technology trends without the need for structured training.
  • Resilience & Determination: Ability to lead and drive for results under challenging or ambiguous conditions, showing the persistence to navigate complex system issues until a resolution is reached.
  • Resourcefulness: Proven capacity to work independently, exercising judgment to select methods an techniques for obtaining results when standard procedures are not available or are only partially defined.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day support of Workday service requests through ServiceNow, receiving guidance from senior members.
  • Perform routine assignments related to the maintenance of foundational set-up in Workday.
  • Participate in testing activities for changes to Workday configuration, including AI-enhanced features, by executing scripts and documenting results.
  • Support integration activities between Workday and other HR/business systems.
  • Exchange straightforward information with team members and end-users, asking questions and checking for understanding.
  • Support AI-powered automation initiatives within Workday by documenting user needs and testing intelligent assistants.
  • Be accountable for your own contributions while learning system touchpoints and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Help maintain data integrity by assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
