The Senior Workday Technical Specialist is a key member of the HRIT team responsible for ensuring seamless data flow, accuracy, and consistency between Workday and other critical systems. The successful candidate will manage and troubleshoot integrations, coordinate system configurations, and provide expert guidance to the HRIT team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field REQUIRED.
  • Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing integrations of Workday with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the Workday HCM ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the discovery, design, development, support, and optimization of complex integrations between Workday and External/Internal systems.
  • Manages end-to-end workflows using technologies such as calculated fields, custom reports, EIB, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and advanced Web Services (SOAP and RESTful).
  • Works with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Payroll, and Finance to define configuration and integration requirements.
  • Ensures robust Workday security for integrations by implementing encryption, decryption, data security measures, and managing SSH, PGP, IP whitelisting, and security groups/roles.
  • Prepares and manages integration migrations and deployments to Sandbox and Production environments.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and leads cross-functional improvements through a Change Control Board or similar system.
  • Ensures compliance with standards and regulatory requirements by maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, and data flows.
  • Develops and executes test plans to validate application performance.
  • Prioritizes, troubleshoots, and efficiently resolves technical issues with other systems.
  • Collaborates with vendors to map requirements and resolve integration issues efficiently.
  • Provides comprehensive support for HR systems, including tenant maintenance, optimization, and upgrades.
  • Establishes and actively cultivates relationships with business owners.
