About The Position

The Workday HRIS Analyst will support the People and Human Capital teams at Green Dot Public Schools by managing Workday configuration, maintenance, and reporting needs. This role is crucial for deploying efficient and user-friendly business solutions across various functional areas in Human Capital Management (HCM).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday HCM and Reporting (required).
  • Understanding of Workday HCM setup and configurable security (preferred).
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel (required).
  • Experience in the education sector (a plus).
  • Familiarity with union requirements (a plus).
  • Familiarity with SQL (a plus).
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to ethical behavior.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the education sector.
  • Familiarity with union requirements.
  • Familiarity with SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Support and work with the Workday team to configure, maintain, and optimize areas such as Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, Business Process, Dashboards, Reporting and Analytics, Integrations, and Security.
  • Assist in rolling out new or enhanced functionality on the Green Dot roadmap.
  • Continuously seek to improve efficiencies and collaborate with subject matter experts.
  • Research possible solutions that meet complex organizational requirements.
  • Create, design, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Manage ticketed requests from end users via the Deskpro system.
  • Support and coordinate semi-annual release testing and configuration.
  • Create and maintain a library of job aids and troubleshooting procedures.
