We're looking for a highly motivated Workday HR Project Manager with Business Systems Analyst (BSA) expertise to lead and support critical HR technology initiatives. This hybrid role combines strategic project management with hands-on Workday system analysis—perfect for someone who can see both the big picture and the technical details. You'll work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive systems enhancements, optimize Workday processes, and ensure successful delivery of HR tech projects from kickoff to implementation. Please note: At this time, we are only considering applicants who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider international applicants or those requiring sponsorship. This role does not accommodate a remote work option but will support a hybrid option after the successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.

  • Collaborate with HR teams to gather business requirements, identify pain points, and understand current HR processes to determine how Workday can best address them.
  • Design and configure Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits) to align with business needs, including creating custom workflows, fields, and reports.
  • Lead the implementation process, including data migration, testing, user training, and change management activities.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and address user queries related to Workday functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes within Workday, proposing and implementing system enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards within Workday to provide actionable insights to HR leadership.
  • Lead small to medium-sized Workday projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM modules and functionalities, including configuration options and best practices.
  • Strong ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and document detailed process flows.
  • Understanding of core HR concepts like recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation, reporting tools, and basic understanding of system integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including HR leadership, technical teams, and end-users.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor Workday projects with defined timelines and milestones.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday, preferably in a project manager or BSA role
  • Strong knowledge of Workday modules, HR processes, and data workflows
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with a focus on HRIS or enterprise systems
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP, CBAP, or Workday certifications are a plus.
  • Medical/dental/vision coverage
  • Company-provided life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Sick/vacation plans
  • Access to a fully equipped onsite gym (San Juan Capistrano office location)
  • Support for professional growth and development through a Learning Management System and training sessions/seminars.
