About The Position

The Manager, Global Application Managed Services (AMS) is responsible for providing expert guidance to the AMS management team and their members, ensuring successful end-user adoption during the Workday post-production lifecycle. This role involves assisting the sales team with various activities, leading HCM workstreams, and acting as a liaison between AMS teams and senior management. The Manager will also focus on identifying business needs, staffing projects, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance for consultants.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Workday Consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Workday certifications (HCM, PATT) required.
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team for 2+ years.
  • Required consulting characteristics: fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast-paced work environments.
  • Required management characteristics: develop new relationships, cultivate growth in others, understand motivations, identify development opportunities, provide practice leadership, execute effective management techniques.

  • Sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HCM workstream for assigned accounts in the PATT workstream.
  • Apply and execute various AMS & Implementation methodologies in Workday HCM engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) team on daily activities and incidents.
  • Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA constructs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to create high business impact.
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization.
  • Work with clients to identify and resolve issues impacting project scope and timeframe.
  • Maintain the Workday platform focusing on reporting, business process maintenance, and security administration.
  • Ensure system design meets user needs.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and reminders with vendors and project teams.
  • Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization.
  • Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements.
