About The Position

The Workday HCM Administrator at Rockefeller Capital Management will lead the implementation and ongoing administration of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing the system to meet the needs of the organization and its employees, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation through HCM-related integrations. The administrator will collaborate closely with the Human Capital team to manage business processes and implement technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in system administration and HR processes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Workday HCM system administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules and functionality.
  • Proven experience as a Workday integration developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Report Writer.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory.
  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric platform.
  • Familiar with Azure Entra Identity and Access management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Workday HCM system, including user access, security roles, tenant configuration, and support for integrations.
  • Partner with the Human Capital team to configure, update, and maintain business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Configure and update Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Absence Management.
  • Configure and implement custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain both inbound and outbound integrations between Workday HCM and other systems using Workday Studio, EIB, and Azure services.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and new HCM features.
  • Maintain the Workday HCM application roadmap and support successful feature release updates and enhancements.
  • Provide expert level technical application support by troubleshooting, resolving, and/or escalating issues as needed.
