We are supporting a major statewide Workday implementation and seeking experienced Workday Grants Consultants to join a dedicated team driving a transformative enterprise solution. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and deploying Workday Grants functionality across multiple agencies, helping modernize grant management processes statewide. Project Overview The State is executing a multi-year Workday implementation, with Go Live targeted for July 2026 , followed by a year of ongoing support. The Grants workstream is currently in build/tenant configuration, and the team is expanding to meet upcoming milestones and cross-agency needs. There is also strong potential for additional follow-on work with other state agencies . Why This Role Matters This initiative will modernize how grants are managed across multiple agencies, impacting processes, technology, and service delivery statewide. As part of a small, specialized team, you will have the opportunity to shape solution design, drive adoption, and directly influence project success. Project Context: Grants Workstream State agencies currently operate with disparate processes and no unified Grants system , relying largely on legacy technology. This initiative aims to establish a standard framework across agencies, and the Grants team will be central to designing scalable processes that can support broad modernization.

  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders to understand current-state grants processes and gaps
  • Facilitate Workday Grants demonstrations to illustrate capabilities, features, and optimal workflows
  • Provide consultative guidance , educating customers on best practices and solution options
  • Partner closely with business users to guide them through the transition from legacy systems
  • Identify approaches for data migration , mapping, and alignment to Workday Grants functionality
  • Support configuration, testing, readiness activities, and go-live events
  • Build strong relationships with diverse agency stakeholders and represent the Workday Grants team professionally
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Workday Grants
  • Proven ability to conduct engaging demos and present complex topics clearly
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work with varied agency customers and listen actively
  • Strong consultative mindset, with the ability to educate, influence, and guide decision-making
  • Familiarity with data conversion and approaches to moving from legacy systems to Workday
  • State government experience is highly desirable, but Higher Education experience is also very relevant
