Where We Need You Protiviti is looking for a Business Performance Improvement (Workday) Senior Consultant to join our growing Financial Performance Management team. What You Can Expect As a Senior Consultant, you will be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans. You’ll identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency. You’ll strengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates. At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, or Related Field).
  • 2+ years working in Consulting, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Assurance Services, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Record to Report certification and/or Workday Contracts to Cash certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading / managing future state design and process improvement projects focused on Record to Report (R2R) and/or Order to Cash (O2C) business functions.
  • Functional and systems experience focused on R2R and/or O2C business functions.
  • Designing and implementing Workday.
  • Key responsibilities as part of these initiatives include leading and performing: requirements definition, facilitating design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post go-live support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial reporting and data management requirements.
  • Design and architect Workday Financials configurations, including the FDM, workflows/BPs, account structures, and integrations with other systems.
  • Implement best practices for Workday Financials and FDM to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Accounting operations, financial frameworks, financial accounting systems and business intelligence tools
  • Service excellence - identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
  • Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network.
  • Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
