About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead for full platform Workday implementations. The person we are seeking will provide expertise in requirements gathering, design, and implementation of customer data conversion processes. As a Workday Data Lead your primary responsibilities may include: Responsible for managing build timelines and collaboration with project management team on tenant management Plan and execute comprehensive configuration migration throughout deployment using Workday delivered toolset Serve as the primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems and spreadsheets into the Workday Cloud HCM & Financials system Converting Data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools Create ETL scripts to transform and load data in preparation to load to Workday Lead in the validation of data loaded into Workday Responsible for assisting clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project Responsible for key communication to project and client leadership Collaborate with client counterpart to successfully deliver on shared objectives Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary Lead the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role

Requirements

  • US Citizenship and must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
  • Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of consulting or industry experience; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of TWO (2) years of consulting or industry experience. Years of experience can be substituted for a degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of EIGHT (8) years of consulting or industry experience
  • A MINIMUM of TWO (2) full cycle Workday implementations in a Data Conversion Lead role
  • A MINIMUM of TWO (2) years of Data Conversion experience including strong ETL and XML capabilities and SQL experience
  • Active Workday Certification through a Workday Partner
  • 25% travel balanced with a work from home and/or Guidehouse office, consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Federal Government Human Capital Management (HCM) environments with an understanding of the issues facing agencies today
  • Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint
  • Strong reporting/analytics/BI experience
