The Office of City Finance (OCF) is responsible for the financial operations of the City of Seattle. While working closely with the City's Budget Office, OCF oversees the City's financial control functions and enterprise reporting responsibilities and supports the goals set by the Mayor and the City Council by providing financial information and expertise. The Office of City Finance champions race and social justice and works progressively to realize the City's vision of racial equity by participating in the Race and Social Justice Initiative - RSJI, which requires fostering a relational culture and an openness to learn and apply new ideas and skills through an equity lens. The Business Systems Division supports all enterprise back-office systems of the day-to-day operation for a specific Citywide operation for Financial, Human Resources (Timekeeping and Payroll), and City Business and Occupation License and Tax collection. The OCF, the Business Systems Division, is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for Workday Configuration Analyst. This position provides critical support for Workday HCM and Payroll and manages production intake by providing Workday expertise in configuring eligibility rules and configuration of business processes. The role will require the ability to build relationships based on support, trust, consistency, and proven competence, involving leading projects, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on best practices to ensure optimal use of Workday. The position will manage user support.
