The Applications Analyst – Workday HCM Applications is responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday HCM modules—including HCM Core, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Performance, and Learning—to meet operational needs. This role collaborates closely with operational stakeholders to ensure that system configurations and technical solutions effectively align with organizational processes and strategic objectives. The analyst contributes to cross functional project deliverables, proactively identifies barriers, and ensures assigned tasks are completed within project scope and timelines. They support Workday upgrades, review and configure new features, perform testing, and develop user focused documentation and job aids. This position provides application configuration and technical troubleshooting, including issue investigation, ticket triage, system and security analysis, and participation in critical incident response. The analyst partners with subject matter experts and vendors to design and configure system features, maintain integrations, and support vendor software installations and updates. The role develops comprehensive support documentation, collaborates with training teams to create end user materials, and maintains current knowledge of Workday functionality, certifications, and emerging technology trends.
