The Workday Analyst II is a technical resource for functional areas and must be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. This position is responsible for the assessment, design, development, implementation, testing, education, and management of assigned applications, primarily focused on Workday. The Workday Analyst II will understand Workday specific functions, configurations, and business processes. This role involves the maintenance and updating of support and procedure documents, developing requirements and detailed specifications, and utilizing troubleshooting techniques to identify, diagnose, and correct application issues. The analyst will lead system testing and upgrade support as needed, advising management of potential problems, the status of current systems, and suggestions for improvements on an ongoing basis. It is essential for the analyst to maintain up-to-date technical skills and stay current with developments in application administration, recommending ways to take advantage of new technology and procedures. Additionally, the analyst may work on ad hoc projects as requested and may come in contact with company trade secrets, confidential information, and intangible assets.
