Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Client Sponsor or similar client-facing role, preferably in an AMS or IT service management environment.
  • Solid understanding of Workday's modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.) and experience in an application management/support environment.
  • Experience managing large, complex client relationships in an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of Workday architecture and configurations, including reporting, security, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide teams in delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Project Management certification preferred plus another one in other modules (HCM, Financials, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the Workday AMS provider. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior business stakeholders, ensuring the smooth delivery of Workday services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the client advocate, communicating their needs, business priorities, and pain points to the AMS team and ensuring these are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the ongoing delivery of Workday AMS services to the client, ensuring service levels are met, issues are resolved quickly, and the client is satisfied with the support provided. Manage escalations and work with the AMS team to ensure quick resolutions.
  • Workday Solutions Optimization: Provide input on the optimization of existing Workday solutions and assist with the identification of opportunities for new functionalities or enhancements to better support the client's business objectives.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish and enforce governance procedures and best practices for the AMS contract. Provide regular updates and performance reports to client leadership on AMS performance, incidents, and any planned or upcoming releases.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with both the client and the AMS provider to drive continuous improvement in Workday service delivery. Participate in periodic reviews and contribute ideas for process improvements, service enhancements, and value-add opportunities.
  • Change Management: Ensure effective change management procedures are followed for any enhancements, updates, or system modifications. Communicate any system changes or disruptions to the client team in advance, minimizing business impact.
  • Sales Support: Work with practice leaders and sales team to develop go to market strategies and engage in sales pursuits.
  • Revenue Growth: Generate additional revenue from existing clients by identifying additional work opportunities both within the Workday application and across Impact Advisors' other service lines.
