About The Position

Under minimal supervision, responsible for cross-functional collaboration with Information Technology, Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement to maintain and optimize Workday functionality to meet changing business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Workday certification preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience directly related to Workday administration and collaborating with multiple operational areas (Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Procurement).
  • Experience with report writing.
  • Knowledge of multiple Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Financial, Procurement, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Knowledge of Workday report writing and calculated fields.
  • Knowledge of Workday security configuration and business process management.
  • Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent human relations skills to include ability to build effective and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skill in communicating effectively in both verbal and written form, exercising tact, self-restraint, judgment, and strategy in dealing with people of all races, ethnicities, and socio-economic groups.
  • Ability to work independently and translate functional requirements into technology requirements that leverage the existing and new technology.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to an individual or group, formally and informally.
  • Ability to interact with others in a way that inspires trust, confidence, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts ongoing requirement analysis, designs, tests, deploys, and maintains Workday configuration for current and new functionality or enhancements.
  • Prepares all operational areas for Workday bi-annual releases.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves production support issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitors tickets and responds to daily support requests.
  • Provides support, including researching, identifying and resolving unexpected results and process errors.
  • Writes standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports as well as creates complex calculated fields, custom objects, and worksheets.
  • Serves as a strategic resource by engaging in the Workday Community to stay current on industry best practices.
  • Designs and maintains user-friendly job aids and delivers targeted training sessions as needed.
  • Oversees and administers all aspects of Tenant management, Community user access, and implementer permissions to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
  • Supports existing Workday Enterprise Interface integrations with vendors, monitoring processes to ensure successful execution.
  • Configures and performs uploads utilizing Enterprise Interface Buildings (EIBs) when needed.
  • Maintains all Security Groups, Roles, Business Process, and Domain Access configurations to ensure system integrity, compliance, and optimal user access across the organization.
  • Manages the migration of reports, business processes, configurations, and security groups across Workday Tenants using the Configuration Console (CC) Tenant to ensure consistency, accuracy, and system integrity.
  • Assists with software implementation and upgrades as necessary.
