About The Position

As a Workbench Technician you will be responsible for the repair, cleaning, assembly, and testing of automated assemblies in accordance with manufacturer specifications and engineering designs. This role ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and operates effectively as intended by the design team.

Requirements

  • Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches) safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical documentation.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Educational Background/Experience: A high school diploma, GED.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Applied Manufacturing's Quality Systems (QS) as outlined in training.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Assemble mechanical components and complete full assemblies.
  • Wire and test electrical components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and replenish parts as needed.
  • Clean and restore components for reuse or further assembly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow work and safety instructions.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
