Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Work Tool Administrator. The Work Tool Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Construction Division Work Tool Inventory Control, including inventory accuracy, cost control and disposal of surplus items. Seeking candidates with previous experience in sales support; Heavy equipment knowledge and mechanical aptitude preferred; College degree preferred. Requirements for the Work Tool Administrator position include: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have an excellent driving record. Frequent travel is required – overnight or out town via car or airplane. Must be able to handle large volumes of work in fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Promote a positive customer experience.
