About The Position
The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana (UACCHT) is a proud member of the University of Arkansas System. The Work-study assistant supports the Industry Training, Community Education, and Kids' College department by assisting with daily office operations, program coordination, and special events. This position provides students with hand-on experience in educational program support, customer service, and administrative tasks while developing professional workplace skills.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
- Currently enrolled as a student at the college
Responsibilities
- Assist with front office operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone and email inquiries
- Support registration and enrollment processes for community education and Kids' College programs
- Help prepare materials for classes, workshops, and training sessions
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining records
- Support Instructors and staff with classroom setup and cleanup as needed
- Help promote programs through flyers, social media posts, or campus outreach
- Assist with special events, camps, and community programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
