About The Position

The Fallon Campus is recruiting for a student employee(s). This is a Work Study position. Applicants who do not qualify for work study should apply on the other Fallon Campus recruitment. The Work Study Student Employee position provides valuable support to the department by assisting with daily operations, administrative tasks, and special projects as needed. This role exists to give students the opportunity to gain professional experience while contributing to the efficiency and success of the organization. Student workers play an important part in maintaining smooth departmental functions, supporting staff, and enhancing services provided to the campus community. Depending on departmental needs, student workers may be asked to work specific days/hours or occasionally travel to different campus locations.

Requirements

  • Must have been awarded Work Study funds based on eligibility determined by the FAFSA.
  • Enrollment in at least 6 credits each regular semester.
  • Be in a degree seeking program.
  • Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements: 67% completion rate in the last enrolled semester, 67% cumulative completion rate, 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
  • Have not exceeded the maximum number of credits allowed (90) or received two degrees OR be on an approved appeal and on probation with an Academic Plan.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general office and administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  • Assist staff with projects, events, and day-to-day departmental tasks.
  • Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and ensure resources are stocked and available.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Benefits

  • Compensation: Student Employee - Level 1 $12-15 an hour.
  • Scheduled and available hours may vary and are subject to change based on organizational needs.
  • Students may not work during scheduled course times.
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week during academic periods.
  • Students may not work more than 28 hours per week during break periods.
