About The Position

This position is responsible for LB Choirs' presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and X.

Requirements

• Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC.
• Must maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term.
• Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better.
• Must have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
• Must have social media experience, either personal or professional.
• Must be a 'self-starter'.
• Must be able to work with others collaboratively.
• Must have experience with digital a/v sites.
• Must have video/sound editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Post creative weekly updates pertaining to information about LB Choirs' activities or other ways to engage our audience.
• Connect to other organizations via social media.
• Collaborate with Advancement-Marketing and Raymund for content.
• Engage social media followers.
• Find new and creative ways to get LB Choirs' message out through social media.
• Execute marketing plan in collaboration with LBCC Advancement.
• Grow follower base each term.
• Post content on YouTube, SoundCloud and other a/v media services.
• Ensure that content posted follows copyright laws.
• Check with Raymund as to what pieces to post.
• Find creative ways to use a/v/ social media to get LB Choirs' message out.
• Attend weekly 10-minute stand up meetings (Mondays at 2:50pm).
• Other duties as assigned.
