About The Position

This position performs a variety of task duties depending on the department and assignment.

Requirements

• Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term
• Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better
• Have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College
• High school diploma or an equivalent
• Current student in good standing at LBCC
• Versed in Math 095
• Possess basic computer skills
• Previous chemistry knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Assistance setting up and breaking down lab
• Preparing lab chemical reagents
• Assists with materials, equipment and chemical inventory
• Lab preparation
• Assists in setting up and breaking down displays and lab experiments
• Washing laboratory glassware
• Performs needed tasks for the department including office support and other duties as assigned
