The WorkPlace Project Manager (WPPM) reporting into Global Real Estate and Workplace Services (GREWS), will manage large and special projects in support of multiple efforts related to the BMS WorkPlace Program. These efforts include but are not limited to mass staff relocations, renovation of buildings and closure of sites. In support of those efforts, the WPPM will build and execute project schedules to lead the GREWS workstreams during design, procurement of services and materials and build phase. These efforts are to design and deploy Network Solutions (switches, WAPs, telephony, etc.), Desk Technology (monitors, docking stations, headsets, etc.), Audio/Visual conference room technology, centralized print room technology, and the building's branding solution. Additionally, the WPPM is responsible for overseeing the Change Management/Communications and Occupancy Planning workstreams. This position reports into the Global WorkPlace Program Manager and will assist in the training and growth of other PMs on the team. Each WorkPlace project typically involves the complete renovation or closure of a building and therefore the WPPM must also work very closely and collaborate with the Construction/Engineering/Facilities Project Manager(s) to integrate his/her milestones into the Construction Project Schedule and vice versa. Collaboration skills are key as the WPPM must integrate schedules across GREWS, IT, Network, Facilities, Engineering, Print Services, Change Management, Communications, Occupancy Planning/Logistics and Branding. Projects will include both US and International locations, however travel is not expected. The individual will run integrated project team meetings, develop the integrated project status, organize and lead teams to ensure deliverables and timelines are met, pro-actively raise key issues/risks and of course follow and execute processes per PMO standards. The individual should have demonstrated experience working with mid-level and senior executives and have executive presence. Individual should also be comfortable working in a fast-pace environment and able to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently and at times with competing priorities.
