In this role, you'll design dashboards, build automations, and uncover business opportunities through data—all while driving innovation across TC Energy. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent technical expertise through 3+ years of professional experience
- Proven experience with Power Automate for task automation and workflow optimization
- Hands-on expertise with query or programming languages (Power Query, DAX, etc.)
- Proficiency with MS Office and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Dataverse, Office 365, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of cloud-based reporting solutions and their applications
- Report writing experience with proven ability to communicate findings and recommendations
- Strong self-motivation and demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex projects
Nice To Haves
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Certifications in data analytics, data science, or data management (AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
- Knowledge of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence applications
- Familiarity with natural gas operations or energy sector business processes
- Experience with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or predictive analytics

- Analyze complex business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement through data-driven solutions
- Automate manual processes using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency and free up team capacity
- Exercise sound judgment in interpreting data, quickly identifying anomalies and deviations that signal potential issues or opportunities
- Develop technological solutions that support the data needs of analysts throughout the organization
- Partner with internal customers to understand their reporting requirements and translate those needs into effective visualization tools
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring data stories drive action
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across departments to support organizational goals
- Gather requirements efficiently through active listening and observation, translating knowledge into appropriate action
