Los Medanos College is currently accepting applications to establish a pool for adjunct teaching assignments in the Work Experience Education (WRKX) program. Adjunct teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. The goal of WRKX is to link classroom learning with on-the-job experiences. Our courses provide work-based learning opportunities and CSU-transferable college credit. Because students work in virtually every type of business and organization, we utilize instructors with a wide variety of backgrounds and educational specialties. Instructors work one-on-one with students to create and review learning objectives that are aligned to their field of study. Travel may be needed with reimbursement for mileage.
