About The Position

Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Work Control Planner 2 in Los Alamos, NM. The position involves developing and/or reviewing work packages that include time, material, and labor estimates, as well as written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may relate to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures. The role may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure. Additionally, the position supports the execution plan of PF4 and involves work related to ALD-PI installs and glove boxes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a Q clearance (not required to start).
• Knowledge of MWP, P-6, and Asset Suite (preferred, not required).

Nice To Haves

• PPA certification.
