Amazon Web Services (AWS) are seeking Logistics Transportation Specialists as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location. Amazon has multiple WBLP trainee openings in 2026. Trainees will participate in our 12-month work and training program in our Maryland facilities. The Logistics Transportation Specialist transports inventory from location to location, reviews delivery ticket queues, and monitors ongoing demand. They ensure proper stock levels are maintained across all locations through directed movement between sites to support build and repair activities. Working with the Logistics Manager, they ensure timely deliveries and the correct items are moved. Regular and ongoing communications with peers and leadership to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator. Logistics Transportation Specialists are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. Responsibilities can include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the delivery of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations. Logistics Transportation Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).
