Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Work Assistant for the department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In collaboration and consultation with the Rutgers Office of Communications & Public Affairs, the Department of Psychiatry has been expanding to create a multimedia division. The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Work Assistant who will engage with community stakeholders over social media platforms, initially Instagram. Since the use of social media in higher education crosses multiple domains, our trainees will gain invaluable experience as learners and administrators while working closely with the Work Assistant and the Program Coordinator. While the initial description below focuses on Instagram, the start-up of additional social media platforms (II – V) will be discussed at a later date. Experience in website management a plus (e.g., refreshing website content with news items, photos, etc.).
