accentedge is looking for a highly skilled WordPress Development Lead with expertise in building complex, scalable, and high-performance websites. This role is suited for an individual who excels in backend development, advanced site architecture, and database optimization within the WordPress ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with large-scale WordPress sites, an in-depth understanding of web performance, and a proven track record of deploying and managing enterprise-level WordPress installations.

  • Design and implement highly scalable WordPress architecture for complex websites with high traffic and data volume.
  • Build, optimize, and troubleshoot backend systems, ensuring efficient database management and minimal server load.
  • Develop advanced, customized functionality beyond standard plugins or themes, including multi-site networks and custom post types.
  • Oversee efficient database structures and queries, including optimization for high-performance and large data volumes.
  • Architect and manage complex integrations with external APIs and services to enhance website capabilities.
  • Implement advanced security protocols, caching strategies, and performance optimization techniques for enterprise-grade reliability.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless project execution from conception to deployment.
  • Minimum of 8 years in WordPress development, with a focus on enterprise or large-scale sites.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Extensive experience with MySQL, complex queries, and database performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience building sites that handle high traffic, including familiarity with load balancing and CDN configurations.
  • Advanced skills in integrating and managing RESTful APIs within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress security, with the ability to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain data integrity.
  • Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with containerization.
  • Expert level experience with Elementor Ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Experience in DevOps or server management for WordPress.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
