About The Position

Petco is a category-defining health and wellness company focused on improving the lives of pets, pet parents, and Petco partners. We are 29,000 strong and operate 1,500+ pet care centers in the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico, including 250+ Vetco Total Care hospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, and eight distribution centers. The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for supervising one or more work units in the Distribution Center, providing ongoing training, and delegating assignments. This role also involves performance evaluations, hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees. The work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise, with some risk of injury from improper procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Strong working knowledge of basic Distribution Center management principles, including scheduling, accounting relationships, and inventory control policies.
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills to log, track, and report data.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities
