About The Position

The Wood Finish Applicator position performs all tasks involved within their assigned department. Spray gun are used to apply finish stains and clear coats to pre-sanded products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Requirements

• Thoroughness

• Technical Capacity
• 3 - 5 years Spraying experience.
• High school diploma

Responsibilities

• Use of spray guns to apply finish stains and clear coats
• Verify paperwork to ensure the correct finish is being applied
• Spray all components in a defined spray technique
• Ensure that the color applied matches a supplied sample
• Wear a respirator anytime application is in process
• Work with team members in the area to accomplish a daily plan
• Notify supervisor of any safety mechanical or material issues or scrap and rework.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
