About The Position

The Women’s Program Intern supports the daily operations of the programs and contributes to a positive experience for all onsite volunteers, clients, and visitors. This role assists with front desk coverage, client and volunteer coordination, and program support, while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit and program operations. The intern will also support program evaluation efforts by helping track participation, gather feedback, and assess program impact to inform continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (e.g., human services, nonprofit management, business, communications, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an initial point of contact for volunteers, coaches, and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Assist with program evaluation efforts, including gathering feedback and supporting assessment of program impact.
  • Support coordination and facilitation of the Making Cents class and participant communication.
  • Support coordination of volunteers and interns in boutique maintenance, including assisting with onboarding.
  • Assist with scheduling clients for career center and styling appointments, providing day to day guidance, and support follow-up communication.
  • Help track and maintain client data, including metrics, referral partner information, and appointment records for grant reporting.
  • Maintain and organize client files, including documentation of follow-up appointments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
