About The Position

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree with a concentration in business.
  • 5+ years of experience in a management capacity.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze information and apply judgment to solve problems.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with an acceptable DMV record and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare itineraries and hotel accommodations for team travel.
  • Schedule travel arrangements for recruiting trips and official visits.
  • Maintain coaches' university purchasing cards and reconcile P-card transactions.
  • Assist head coaches in building and completing budget requests for travel and operations.
  • Guide new staff through the new hire checklist.
  • Manage pre-season housing arrangements.
  • Act as a liaison for office supplies procurement.
  • Coordinate with the university marketing department and printers.
  • Facilitate dining arrangements with Sodexo for teams choosing per diem.
  • Assist coaching staff with pre-game needs and collaborate with game operations staff.
  • Communicate with IT Director of Business relations regarding program project requests.
