About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Women’s Social Rehabilitation Unit (WSRU) Coordinator to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri. The WSRU Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative guidance and supervision to clinical and administrative staff and for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and provide quality, evidence-based, behavioral/mental health services within a mental health residential social rehabilitative unit in a correctional setting for female offenders.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
- Active professional license to practice independently in the state of Missouri: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
- Must possess current CPR and Basic Life Support certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a correctional or mental health treatment facility is preferred
- Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment preferred
