The Women's Ministry (WM) team is hiring a part-time (25 hours per week) Women’s Ministry Groups Director at our Knapp Street Campus. A fitting candidate will thrive as a team player and partner well with fellow Campus WM Directors to oversee the connection, care, and discipleship of women. Women’s Ministry Groups Directors excel at building relationships, overseeing small group ministry, developing leaders, teaching the bible, and hosting events.

  • Partner well with fellow campus WM Director and broader WM Team to ensure cohesion in WM efforts churchwide
  • Contribute to and implement WM strategy
  • Champion one aspect of Women’s Ministry for all of Ada Bible Church
  • Identify and onboard potential coaches, leaders, mentors and volunteers
  • Build and maintain strong coach and leader teams
  • Carry out annual leadership development plan
  • Form, oversee, and track small groups
  • Work with Coaches and Leaders to identify and address care opportunities – regularly pairing women with mentors
  • Coordinate both large and small WM events
  • Champion large group bible teaching, leader training and event hosting
  • Maintain accurate tracking of various aspects of the work
  • Provide consistent, intentional Weekend Service presence
  • Proactively connect unconnected women to a Discipleship Environment
  • Champion assimilation initiatives
  • Attend Campus Staff and Ministry meetings with other departments
  • Administer 1:1 Care as assigned by Campus Pastor
  • Deep biblical knowledge
  • Strong public/platform speaking skills – compelling, clear communicator
  • Ability to accomplish objectives through others, lead and develop others
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet all deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate tense or sensitive situations and resolve conflict
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Ability to work when the job requires, which includes weekends, some evenings, and occasional holidays
  • Vibrant, contagious love for Jesus and others
  • Strong in personal, spiritual practices
  • Proven ability to build relationships and partner well with others
  • Proven ability to skillfully manage details and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ
  • Applicants should be willing to become members within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with our statement of faith
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Education in Biblical studies, ministry, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience overseeing small groups and biblical teaching
