About The Position

Supports the mission of People's Community Clinic by managing programs and projects that improve patient care and advance clinical value strategies, while ensuring efficient clinic operations at the Center for Women’s Health. All People’s employees are expected to identify opportunities to improve workflow, work processes, and patient care and to work cooperatively to implement those improvements. This position works as a member of a care team to coordinate patient care and support patients and families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Care team members are expected to assess and manage the health needs of the patient population and to communicate effectively with all patients, especially vulnerable populations. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in project or grant management.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in non-profit organizations, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to motivate others and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Conflict resolution experience; adaptability; demonstrated initiative and ability to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of medical office protocols and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to interact successfully with people from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduation from an accredited master’s program with major coursework in public health or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and monitor new programs at CWH, including timelines, workflows, and training.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple projects and initiatives across department lines to achieve deliverables within timeline and budget, including defining scope, timelines, schedules, goals, and required resources.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, reporting, and organizational policies.
  • Track KPIs, prepare reports for leadership and funders, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and facilitate collaborative decision-making and functioning.
  • Manage budgets and resources in partnership with finance and grants teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and PDSA cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, work processes, and patient care, and work cooperatively to implement these and other quality improvements.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all aspects of program and patient care.
  • Perform essential office and administrative duties, including answering phones, directing calls, and responding to emails and faxes.
  • Schedule surgeries, diagnostic procedures, and patient appointments accurately using the computerized scheduling system.
  • Maintain medical records and prepare charts and paperwork.
  • Communicate with patients as directed by providers or nurses.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and maintain a safe, organized clinic environment.
