About The Position
Wiring Assemblers are responsible for wiring and assembling PC boards using the outline and wiring drawings.
Requirements
- Must be able to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Must be proficient with soldering iron.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
- Basic English language skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of assembly related experience
- Assembly related experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Confirm parts detailed on drawing match the shop order and are included in kit provided by the stock room.
- Install switches and connectors on PC boards.
- Lace wires to proper switches and connectors as indicated on established documentation.
- Solder wires in place as required.
- Complete PC board assembly for inspection and testing.
- Assembly of unit/panel using established documentation and using all parts provided in the shop order.
