About The Position

The Wireline Electronics Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and quality checks on equipment, ensuring timely repairs. The technician operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, both indoors and outdoors, and is expected to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper start-up of all software and communications with all equipment.
• Visually inspects all cables.
• Communicates with frac supervisor prior to start-up.
• Attends to all equipment by walking around visually inspecting operation.
• Communicates any deficiencies to frac supervisor.
• Performs repairs to equipment.
• Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.
• Walks site to ensure that all equipment is properly shut-down and turned off.
• Assists in housekeeping before leaving location.
